Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Director of Revenue Management at Fairmont Royal York, you’ll lead our Top Line team in setting a strategic vision and driving revenue growth. You’ll analyze data, provide insights, and recommend strategies that align with our brand’s positioning. Your expertise will ensure that pricing and inventory strategies maximize profit while supporting our overall revenue goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  1. Manage the IDeaS Revenue Management System, including forecast validation and system maintenance.
  2. Maximize net revenue through strategic pricing and a deep understanding of market segments and booking channels.
  3. Monitor booking pace and hotel performance indicators to adjust pricing and availability controls.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with OTA partners to enhance hotel visibility and conversion.
  5. Lead revenue forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning in collaboration with senior management.
  6. Co-chair revenue initiatives, including Restaurant Revenue Management, to optimize total venue revenue.
  7. Mentor and develop the revenue management team, ensuring alignment with overall hotel strategies.

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  1. Minimum of three - five years related experience in similar size property
  2. Strong knowledge of Opera, Opera Sales & Catering, and IDeaS RMS preferred
  3. Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree and/or equivalent experience
  4. Strategic thinking with a proven ability to mobilize theory into action
  5. Previous operations experience an asset
