Responsibilities
-Assist project team with coordination of building systems trades for compliance to drawings, specifications, quality, and schedule.
-Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinationof on-site mechanical and electrical activities.
-Assist with coordination drawing process.
-Reads and understands the building systems trade contractor quality-management programs. Witnesses on-site field testing and records results.
-Oversee commissioning process, including scheduling, testing activities, and project close out.
-Chair various meetings related to building systems.
-Assist project team with building systems commissioning document deliverables.
-Attends management and architect meetings related to building systems.
-Adheres and supports internal safety programs.
-Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
-Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, consultants, jurisdiction authorities and trades.

Qualifications
-Tradesperson or post-secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls) is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.
-Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
-Familiarity with construction progress and sequencing.
-Effective verbal and written communications skills.
-Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a face-paced environment.
-Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines, and delegate tasks.
-Ability to quickly adapt and become proficient with new software.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
