All about the role:
Join our dynamic team as Merchandising Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Canadian organization to craft innovative merchandising and sales promotion tactics. Your impact will extend across all customers, driving effective sales execution.
In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning, working cross functionally with the Product Line and Sales teams to develop and implement merchandising and sales promotion strategies aligned with the Product Line’s annual budget ambitions.
You'll take charge of overseeing the promotion and commercial go to market plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your expertise will be crucial in driving impactful business results across all product lines and Electrolux brands.
Your role will also involve seamless collaboration with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams, fostering a collaborative environment and maximizing shared business outcomes. Your strategic input will contribute to the success of our various product lines and brands.
What you’ll do:
·Coordinate and communicate withmarketing, pricing and sales CA merchandising activities.
·Develop and distribute formal quarterly Go-To-Market plans.
·Maintain consistent Electrolux Major Appliances Brand & Product line logics, competitive market line logics for comparison and planning, including gap analysis on categories
·Participate in generation plan reviews for understanding of opportunities, integration into the Electrolux Major Appliances merchandising line logic and communications.
·Analysis of market data (AHAM, Traqline, RSI, and floor data) to assist in creating winning merchandising communications, compelling promotional campaigns and product focused initiatives.
·Analyze post promotion results for achievement of predicted return on investment for sales revenue and desired profit margin. Will also provide regular market data updates from the market data analysis for communication across functions.
·Participate in developing effective national merchandising efforts with sufficient lead times to enable successful co-marketing.
Qualifications required:
·Bachelor's degree in related field required.
·2 to 5 years of combined sales, marketing or merchandising experience
·Strong interpersonal skills – ability to thrive in a global “matrix” organization.
·Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
·Power BI or other dashboard software a plus
