The role

As Director, Talent Management and Culture, your role will consist of developing and implementing organizational development and professional development initiatives based on the company's strategic priorities in addition to creating strategies intended to improve the employee experience and to encourage the adoption of the values of diversity, equity and inclusion in the company. You will work together with the management team and the entire Talents and Culture team to ensure that human resources projects are aligned with VIA HFR's corporate objectives while contributing to establishing a corporate culture in a fast-growing environment.

The responsibilities

  • Lead and mobilize a team of multidisciplinary professionals responsible for building development initiatives in order to facilitate the integration and retention of employees by providing them with development opportunities and promoting a culture of learning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify the organization's training needs in line with the corporate plan and then supervise the design, development and delivery of programs.
  • Implement organizational mobilization initiatives to support an engaging experience for employees through various programs such as onboarding for new employees, performance management cycle, etc.
  • In collaboration with Internal Communications, develop Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and culture strategies, with organizational objectives and issues as well as best practices; Develop organizational development strategies to support business growth and evolution such as succession planning and establishing succession plans.
  • Develop the DEI vision and strategy and propose innovative programs that correspond to market best practices.
  • Improve talent and culture practices so that they are more equitable and inclusive and train employees.
  • Implement an action plan aligned with the DEI strategy once it is built and set objectives accordingly.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology or a related field.
  • CPHR designation (an asset)
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in employee experience management, organizational development and diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of best practices in employee experience, organizational development and DEI.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
