Our reputable client is seeking a Payroll Manager to join the company. This Payroll Manager will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies, and will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department. This may be the role for you if you are a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven.How you will make an impact- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits- Manage processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades- Engage with accounting and Human Resources (HR) teams- Manage the accuracy of records and prepare reports- Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments)- Oversee and train a small team of payroll coordinators- Comply with relevant laws and internal policies- Answer payroll-related questions and resolve issues- Organize payroll systems and timekeepingRequirements: - Leadership and organizational skills- Superb understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field- Compliance knowledge- Well versed in a range of payroll applications- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well- Solid grasp on current payroll procedures and related laws- 5+ years of payroll experience- Skillful in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion- PLP or other related professional certifications is a plusThank you to everyone for your application.
