Business Development, Remarketing, Renewals, and Customer Service

  • Business Development and Remarketing
    • Reach out to potential clients via calls

    • Meet with clients offsite
  • Renewals
    • Conduct annual renewal reviews
    • Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations
  • Customer Service
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters
    • Respond to client inquiries
    • Advise clients on insurance coverage and risk management issues

Agency Management/File System

  • Update and maintain electronic client files
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as required
  • Must have a RIBO License
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in a personal lines department at an Insurance Brokerage in a similar role with similar duties and responsibilities
  • Understanding of personal lines underwriting and coverages
  • Knowledge of uploading and processing new business and policy changes to company portals
  • Currently working towards completing CAIB, CIP, and/or CRM designations
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel
