One of the largest and fastest-growing Lebanese restaurant chains in Canada on the cusp of an unprecedented expansion across Canada is embarking on an exciting journey with the opening of our new 15,000 sq ft production plant facility in Dartmouth, NS.

Our new facility will handle the production of our proprietary items related to chicken, beef, sauces and vegetables. And with your expertise, we'll extend our offerings beyond our own restaurants to wholesale, institutional, and retail clients who are seeking new products where we can deliver high-quality and excellence.

As the inaugural Director of Sales for our new facility, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. With a federal processing designation and the capability to service all of Canada, our production plant is poised to meet the increasing demand for our high-quality products. You will have the opportunity to lead our sales efforts, expanding our reach to new customers nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for the production plant. Collaborate with senior management to align sales objectives with overall business goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and buying behaviors. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the plant's customer base and market reach. Prospect potential clients, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts and partnerships.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive landscape to forecast sales projections and develop sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  • Pricing and Margin Management: Set pricing strategies and manage pricing negotiations to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Monitor margins and pricing trends, adjusting as needed to maintain desired profit margins.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for lead generation, qualification, and conversion, utilizing tools and technology to enhance productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to coordinate activities and achieve shared goals.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics to track progress against targets and objectives. Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals with key customers and clients.
  • Excellent leadership with a track record of retaining existing and securing new business
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of production processes, materials, and industry regulations preferred.
