On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Project Analyst to apply their experiences as a front-line staff member and liaise with colleagues across the region to ensure the design of the new CIS is practical and based on the needs of the region.

Responsibilities:

  1. Architecture & Infrastructure Project Analyst:
  2. The Project Analyst will be responsible for supporting much of the day-to-day work involved with pushing forward areas of the advanced program across several domains and supporting the workstream PMs/leaders.
  3. Assesses business needs from a technical readiness perspective and implements CIS go-live activities to meet the Advance Program strategic goals.
  4. Serves as a liaison between end users, Site Leads, and technical teams.
  5. Develops and/or maintains technical and user documentation requirements in a highly complex technical environment.
  6. Evaluate and support recommendations for technical program activities.
  7. Ensures technical standards are utilized throughout the implementation.
  8. Must have proven analytical and technical skills to be able to devise new and adapt existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet specific requirements.
  9. Elicit and understand the related workflows, how they affect downstream systems, and how the regional ecosystem might need to be enhanced to support the workflows.
  10. Communicates, prioritizes, tracks, and resolves technical issues in a timely fashion.
  11. Works with internal and external clients to understand technical business.
  12. Develops material for and host demos with different stakeholder groups, as required.
  13. Supports other product launch activities such as developing and documenting operational processes.
  14. Competent to work all phases of application systems analysis.
  15. System implementation experience required; CIS implementation and MEDITECH go-live experience preferred.
  16. Go-live conversion and cut-over experience preferred.
  17. Performs other duties as required.
  1. Project Management Responsibilities:
  2. Support project management associated with this specific work-package.
  3. Support identification Identify, execute, and manage risks and issues including pragmatic mitigation plans associated with this work package.
  4. Support regular status reporting to Advance Program leadership, as required.
  5. Ensure appropriate documentation is organized and can be easily audited.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process optimization for the Advance Program.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Healthcare with a focus on IT systems and operational support.
  • Strong knowledge of general workflows in a hospital environment an asset.
  • Demonstrated internal/external stakeholder provider and clinician engagement experience.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work.
  • Proponent shall possess strong problem-solving, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills and an ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience using tools like JIRA, Smartsheets and Office365.
