Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – Overview of the business

Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – Job Purpose:

To provide support and assistance to the busy Parts Department to ensure smooth running of the department.

Reporting to: Stephen Platt / Emma Ridley

Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – Duties & Responsibilities:

Answering telephone calls and taking messages.  Relaying accurate messages, assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries (manual handling will be required and training provided), stock taking and maintenance of the parts store area.  Ensuring the area is free of trip hazards, supporting with replenishing of stock and preparing stock for delivery to our Engineers. 

Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – The following skills will be developed:

Communication, organisation, prioritising, stock control, teamwork and manual lifting.

Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – Skills & Experience:

– We are looking for someone who has a good telephone manner and a teamwork attitude.

–  Must have a good level of written and spoken English and Mathematics due to the requirements of the role.

Kickstart Parts ID Trainee Assistant  – Essential Qualifications:

– GCSE Mathematics and English qualifications at grade D or above (or equivalent) due to the nature of the role.

– Must be prepared to undertake manual lifting tasks as part of the role.
