Pet Groomer Trainee Job Description

As a Pet Groomer Trainee at PetSmart, you will have the opportunity to build personal relationships with clients and become a part of their family. You will get to know their pets' styles and personalities to create a customized, stylish experience for them.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced groomers in the salon
  • Learn about different dog breeds and styling
  • Help get dogs comfortable in the salon and provide support during their stay
  • Attend the Grooming Academy for in-depth training
  • Put new education and skills to work in the salon
  • Build relationships with clients and advise on styles
