Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Technician Trainee to join our team at BC Hydro. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
