About The Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals currently studying BCom in Accounting or those completing their SAICA or SAIPA articles to gain valuable experience and develop their accounting careers.


Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  2. Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  4. Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  6. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  7. Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  8. Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.

Job Requirements

  1. Currently studying towards a BCom in Accounting or completing SAICA or SAIPA articles.
  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
