Job Description

The evaluation of risks and the associated control environment implemented by management, as well as the testing of compliance with policies, standard practices, and applicable legislation.

Requirements

The candidate must have the following:

1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Internal Auditing
2. 3+ years relevant experience
3. Sound written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English
4. Valid driver’s license
5. Be willing to relocate to Kimberley

Candidates With The Following Will Have An Added Advantage

1. Completed articles and/or CIA;
2. Experience with the three lines of defence and Combined Assurance;
3. Candidates who can function independently and thrive under pressure.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Planning and execution of the approved audit plan;
2. Identify, evaluate, prioritise, and document potential risks;
3. Reporting of audit findings with thorough root cause analysis and practical recommendations;
4. Discuss findings with various levels of management;
5. Provide in-house mentoring and guidance to junior auditors;
6. Provide support on the combined assurance and continuous auditing models;
7. Implement departmental strategic objectives;
8. Deliver excellent client services;
9. Assist in performing ad hoc tasks.
