Vice President – Client Relationships

ACM Advisors ("ACM") provides fixed income investment solutions and commercial mortgage financing. Job Description:

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President – Business Development, the VP – Client Relationships assists the Business Development Team with the execution of fund marketing strategies and capital raising for ACM. The Vice President – Client Relationships will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills who is eager to provide best-in-class client servicing.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • Implementation of all marketing and sales strategies for ACM funds;
  • Undertake research, update, and maintain ACM's database of leads and contacts focusing on the Quebec, Atlantic and Ottawa, Ontario markets;
  • Aid in the development of marketing materials, with translations to French, in compliance with the requirements of the respective Securities Act(s);
  • In conjunction with the Business Development Team, respond to incoming requests for product information on a timely basis including formal RFPs;
  • Execute on a disciplined lead generation program involving targeted research, emails, phone calls, and follow-ups; and,
  • Provide in-person and remote presentations to prospects as required in French or English;
  • Implementation of all relationship management programs, including annual lunches and special events for clients;
  • In conjunction with the Client Servicing Team, track updates to client accounts and requests for servicing;
  • Assist the Client Servicing Team in the monthly subscription closing process including follow-up with clients for any missing information;
  • Deliver customized monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to investment advisors and other current clients as required in French and/or English; and,
  • Network at industry conferences.

What you bring to the team:

  • 5-10 years of experience preferred in a similar role or role with similar attributes in the investment management industry;
  • Bachelor of Commerce, or equivalent;
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course;
  • CFA charter holder or MBA is an asset;
  • First-rate interpersonal skills;
  • Sound knowledge of marketing and sales practices for financial products;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Must excel in a team environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Prior experience in commercial mortgages and with Microsoft Dynamics CRM are bonuses; and,
  • Must be willing to travel.

Description de l'emploi:

Sous la direction du vice-président principal – Développement des affaires, le/la VP – Relations clients assiste l'équipe de développement des affaires dans l'exécution des stratégies de marketing des fonds et de levée de capitaux pour ACM. Le/la VP – Relations clients sera autonome, doté d'excellentes compétences en communication et désireux de fournir le meilleur service à la clientèle.

Responsabilités/fonctions clés :

  • Mise en œuvre de toutes les stratégies marketing et commerciales pour les fonds ACM ;
  • Entreprendre des recherches, mettre à jour et maintenir la base de données de prospects et de contacts d'ACM en se concentrant sur les marchés du Québec, de l'Atlantique et d'Ottawa, ON ;
  • Aider à l'élaboration de documents de marketing, avec des traductions en français, conformément aux exigences de la ou des lois sur les valeurs mobilières respectives ;
  • En collaboration avec l'équipe de développement des affaires, répondre aux demandes d'information sur les produits en temps opportun, y compris les demandes de propositions formelles ;
  • Exécuter un programme discipliné de génération de leads impliquant des recherches ciblées, courriels, appels téléphoniques et suivis ; et,
  • Effectuer des présentations en personne et à distance aux prospects, selon les besoins, en français ou en anglais.
  • Mise en œuvre de tous les programmes de gestion des relations, y compris les déjeuners annuels et les événements spéciaux pour les clients ;
  • En collaboration avec l'équipe de service client, suivre les mises à jour des comptes clients et les demandes de service ;
  • Aider l'équipe de service à la clientèle dans le processus de clôture des souscriptions mensuelles, y compris le suivi auprès des clients pour toute information manquante ;
  • Communiquer des mises à jour mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles personnalisées aux conseillers en placement et aux autres clients actuels, selon les besoins, en français et/ou en anglais ; et
  • Réseauter lors de conférences de l'industrie.

Ce que vous apportez à l'équipe :

  • 5 à 10 années d'expérience, de préférence dans un rôle similaire ou avec des attributs similaires dans le secteur de la gestion de placements ;
  • Baccalauréat en commerce, ou équivalent ;
  • Cours sur les valeurs mobilières canadiennes terminé;
  • Détenteur du titre CFA ou MBA est un atout;
  • Compétences interpersonnelles de premier ordre;
  • Bonne connaissance des pratiques de marketing et de vente de produits financiers;
  • Excellentes compétences informatiques;
  • Doit exceller dans un environnement d'équipe;
  • Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale, en français et en anglais.
  • Une expérience préalable en prêts hypothécaires commerciaux et avec Microsoft Dynamics CRM est un atout ; et,
  • Doit être disposé à voyager.
