TalentWorld is recruiting an Operations Officer II in (Mississauga) where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of RESP accounts and GICS within the organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include generating tickets from the host system, completing purchases, checks, and maintaining trackers. You will be expected to handle approximately 100 tickets per day, demonstrating analytical thinking, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills. Additionally, you will review documentation and applications related to RESP accounts, including new accounts, beneficiary additions, withdrawals, and escalations.

Operations Officer II Key Responsibilities

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and accurately enter data into specific fields using keyboards or scanners.
  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before inputting it into the system.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors or escalate them to supervisors for resolution.
  • Compare data with source documents to detect and rectify errors, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed logs of activities and completed work for documentation and tracking purposes.

Operations Officer II Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and operations experience
  • Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment, handling at least 100 tickets per day and meeting goals and SLAs.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data gathering and entry.
  • Knowledge of CRA registered products including RESP, TFSA, RRSPs, and GICS.
  • Familiarity with JIRA project management software.
  • Additional experience with CRA registered products such as RESP, TFSA, RRSPs, and GICS would be an advantage.

Employment details:

  • Salary: $23 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Other: 6 months contract, possibility of extension
  • Location: Mississauga
