Job DescriptionThe Logistics Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the logistical operations of the company. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating inventory fulfillment processes
- Managing the handling, dispatch, and receipt of samples across various departments
Coordinate and monitor Logistics operations for sample, order, and inventory. Maintain comprehensive daily records of all shipment information and documents on ERP system (Netsuite). Generate shipping labels and coordinate with couriers; utilize logistics tools including UPS/DHL/Canada Post etc. Coordinate with a sales team and project coordinator to arrange shipping for samples. Prepare samples for outbound shipments and inspect incoming sample shipments. Maintain in-office inventory. Other duties, as assigned.
RequirementsWorking towards post-secondary degree/diploma in business administration, commerce, economics, logistics and transportation, supply chain management, or equivalent combination of education & experience. One (1) to three (3) years in a professional environment, logistics or supply chain experience considered an asset. Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite required. Self-driven and proactive. Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dedicated and highly accountable. Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Other Factors We May ConsiderExcellent understanding of logistics and shipping concepts is an asset. Proficiency with UPS/DHL/FedEx software and websites is an asset. Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite) is an asset.
