Are you ready for an exciting IT leadership opportunity with the global leader in logistics? At Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a dynamic National IT Director to join our Canadian head office in Toronto and lead our IT strategy and operations.Your Role

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of KN Canada’s IT strategy and systems to drive business results.
• Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Oversee the security, risk management, and compliance of our Information Systems.
• Manage IT budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, and oversee vendor relationships including contract negotiations.
• Act as the primary IT owner for Kuehne+Nagel Canada, supporting all IT requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in logistics or a similar industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a background in enterprise IT management.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, MSCE, TIA A+) and experience with AI and Machine Learning are assets.
