We're currently on the hunt for a HR Manager, Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Mississauga, ON. This is hybrid role, that offers 3-days on-site and 2-days remote work opportunity.
Main Duties:
- Oversee, execute, and control all project management activities including scope management, requirements management, coordinating technical, operations, and vendor teams, testing, communication management, issue/risk management, budget, and resource management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and related communication documents, ensuring accurate reporting of project status and performance metrics.
- Communicate project expectations clearly and promptly to team members and stakeholders.
- Manage team resource capacity and facilitate the prioritization of competing projects.
- Provide leadership in PM processes and best practices to team members.
- Ensure information and operational issues concerning project status (schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, issues) are communicated effectively between stakeholders, project teams, and management.
- Own the complete project life cycle from definition to completion, including deploying sustainable support models.
- Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, lead, and influence teams that do not directly report to the PM.
- Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required associates from within and outside the company when necessary.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships crucial to the project's success.
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years+ experience with full life cycle implementations such as an ATS, HRIS or HCM system
- Advanced expertise in reporting applications and information management tools including, but not limited to MS Office, PowerBI and the Cognos reporting suite. Includes experience with lookup function, macros, pivot tables, excel formulas
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of building relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and peers
- Organized and motivated with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Previous experience in a project management role, an asset
