Job Description:
This dynamic role offers exposure to a wide range of regulatory reporting projects across global jurisdictions, including CFTC, SEC, CSA, CIRO/IIROC, MIFID, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, LOPR, and LTR. You will collaborate with a talented team of Business Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance professionals to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate closely with business partners to elicit, document, and refine complex business requirements. Facilitate solution design discussions to ensure project objectives are met.
- Solution Design: Develop client-focused solutions by creating and validating solution design documents. Ensure alignment with business requirements and quality standards.
- Project Leadership and Mentoring: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the project team. Foster a collaborative work environment and drive resolution of organizational and operational challenges.
- User Story Development and Bug Fixes: Contribute to the RRS backlog by creating and refining user stories. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions for identified defects.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Analyst (BA) within the Financial Services industry, with a strong focus on Regulatory Reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of OTC transaction reporting regulations, including CFTC, SEC, CSA, CIRO/IIROC, MIFID, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, LOPR, and LTR.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data manipulation tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Previous experience in the Capital Markets industry.
Preferred Skills:
- CSC or other relevant certifications.
- Capital Markets certifications.
- Experience with Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, and supporting Capital Markets client groups.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira/Confluence, Elasticsearch, and Tableau.
