Lease Analyst (Contract)

Job Description Summary

Under limited supervision, perform leased property administration maintaining accurate data in client’s database, produce reports, review and reconcile payment transactions to Landlords, maintain strong client and landlord relationship and communications.

Job Description

Principal Responsibilities:

General:

  • Fosters excellent relationships with client and landlords
  • Engages in verbal and written communications with client and landlord as part of day-to-day responsibilities
  • Generates standardized and ad hoc reporting
  • Reviews and ensures accuracy of reports and client submittals

Lease Administration:

  • Maintains database ensuring all data is accurately classified, approved and processed
  • Conducts final data integrity review of lease abstracts
  • Notifies client of critical lease action dates
  • Verifies Landlord invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Ensures accuracy of rental payments and other reimbursements to Landlords
  • Reviews and processes Estoppel Certificates
  • Ensures timely entry of all data and submission of reports
  • Maintains working lease files ensuring all files are updated and complete and following corporate standards for records retention

Education/Qualification

  • University or college degree required; real estate, accounting or finance degree desirable
  • Written and verbal fluency in English and French
  • Good understanding of financial concepts required
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, with experience in one or more real estate portfolio management software systems
