THE ROLE:


As a Leasing Analyst, you will enable better and data-driven decision-making by supporting our Leasing Team with data entry, budgeting & forecasting, performance reports and overall analysis for various properties and special projects.

In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Leasing Analytics and work closely with different cross-functional teams to help drive long-term impact and increase the overall value of our assets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage the Leasing forecasting process (including leasing data entry, review, and quality assurance).
  • Support the preparation of annual leasing budgets in collaboration with SVP & VPs Leasing, Leasing Managers, and the Forecasting team.
  • Conduct General & Administrative (G&A) forecast and budget review, entry, and monthly variance analysis.
  • Oversee the completion of various reporting on Leasing KPIs including Lift Reports, Anchor Tenant Reports, Forecasting Reports, etc.
  • Manage Leasing data completeness and integrity across key software programs.
  • Provide analytical support including quarterly results package submitted to SVP Real Estate Services, Leasing review sessions, tenant portfolio review meetings.
  • Provide deal support (Net Effective Rent (NER), Tenants Improvement amortization, Buyouts, etc.).
  • Conduct market research (including new tenants coming into the market, compiling comparative rents, assessing competitor centres, etc.).
  • Participate in special projects and take on other duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Real Estate, Marketing, Finance or Business.
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate industry with previous workrelated or internship experience as an asset.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESUFL:

  • Superior analytical skills with ability to gather information, synthesize it and "connect-the-dots".
  • Welldeveloped communication skills with the ability to present findings and conclusions to various stakeholders.
  • You are organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (most importantly in Excel). PowerBI experience would be an asset.
  • Oriented to produce highquality work product with ownership. You are also intuitive and take any opportunity to learn new skills.
