The successful candidate will be part of an energetic and passionate team and will work out of their beautiful downtown Vancouver location.

About the Role

  • Flexible hybrid remote role - working in office 3 days per week
  • Provide support to three lawyers, paralegal, and the legal support team.
  • Oversee and organize calendars using Outlook and other scheduling tools.
  • Handle and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with drafting and preparing specialized legal and agency documents.
  • Organize and manage client documents, pleadings, corporate records, and various legal briefs and reports.
  • Coordinate with court offices to schedule trials, hearings, and other legal appointments.
  • Manage the filing and serving of court documents as required.
  • Organize frequent travel arrangements for the legal team.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
The Offer

The firm offers a salary in the range of $55,000 to $60,000 per annum. This includes a hybrid work-from-home policy, robust benefits and opportunity for growth.

What You Bring:

  • Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or a similar role.
  • Strong ability to manage, organize, and prioritize work independently.
  • Excellent technical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with iManage and PCLaw is beneficial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines effectively.
