Altis has partnered with a top consulting client to hire Quality Control Analysts - AML on 6-month contracts starting August 26th. This is a fully remote in ON.Start date: October 7th - 6 month contractPay Rate: $37/h.Fully on site in LondonHours: 9am-5pm however may need to work until 8pm.Responsibilities:Conduct quality checks on money laundering investigations and alerts.Assess ML/TF risk and ensure compliance with FINTRAC, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations.Monitor emerging trends and regulatory changes, assessing potential impacts.Evaluate suspicious account activity and recommend actions for account retention or regulatory reporting.Analyze AML/ATF findings and identify potential gaps.Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and programs to minimize compliance breaches.Prioritize and manage workload to meet service and productivity SLAs.Serve as a subject matter expert in quality control and provide knowledge and process guidance to others.Work effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in AML or financial crime-related roles.Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations.CAMS and CFCS certifications are assets.Experience with Refinitiv/Lexus Nexus/Dow Jones, and Actimize technology solutions is an asset.Experience with QC’ing Suspicious Transaction Reports or other regulatory reports is an asset.
