Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Analyst to join our team in London. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for performing quality checks on a broad range of money laundering investigations, evaluating ML/TF risk, and keeping abreast of emerging issues and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality checks on money laundering investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Evaluate ML/TF risk by conducting quality checks on cases and providing recommendations to management

Stay up-to-date with emerging issues and trends in the field of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing

Recognize and evaluate accounts and activity, and effectively document recommendations

Provide trend analysis of AML/ATF findings and gaps to management for review

Maintain a culture of risk management and control

Manage ambiguity and apply judgment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ongoing business and operational issues

Assist the QC function with developing and maintaining written policies, procedures, and programs

Prioritize and manage workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity

Requirements

3+ years of experience in AML or financial crime-related roles

Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations

Proficient with FINTRAC guidelines

Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Attention to detail

Nice to Have

CAMS certification

CFCS certification

Experience working with Refinitiv/Lexus Nexus/Dow Jones, and Actimize technology solutions

Experience in QC'ing Suspicious Transaction Reports or/and other regulatory reports
