Associate Director, Talent Acquisition

In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of employee sourcing, recruitment, and selection, including market analysis, offer negotiations, compliance, and candidate sourcing. Your responsibilities will encompass continuous improvement, streamlining of hiring practices and processes, policies, and tools, all with a focus on enhancing the employee brand to strengthen Seneca’s position as an employer of choice.
Here's What’s on Your Horizon
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding.
- Support and lead a team of Talent Acquisition specialists and coordinators, providing guidance, performance management, mentorship, and resources to ensure effective execution of recruitment strategies and initiatives.
- Directly handle recruitment needs across all organizational levels in partnership with the talent acquisition team.
- Assist in developing and refining talent programs, policies, and processes.
- Calculate compensation and provide recommendations for administrative positions.
- Enhance Seneca’s employer brand image through branding efforts.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for mass and ad-hoc hiring needs.
- Research and acquire appropriate channels/resources for talent attraction.
- Support the Director, Talent Acquisition on special projects and ad-hoc request
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including hiring managers and HR partners, to understand hiring needs and foster positive relationships with candidates.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end HR recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Previous experience in leading a talent acquisition team is required.
- Prefer recruitment experience in a unionized environment.
- Experience in conducting market research to understand hiring trends and labor market conditions, with the ability to source candidates.
- Experience developing and executing strategic hiring plans aligned with organizational goals, including stakeholder engagement, market analysis, talent branding and long-term talent forecasting.
- Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or any other related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
