Sr. Partner Development Manager - Technology Partners

As a partner development manager within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to build mind share and adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform across AWS’s most strategic business partners.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Manage and work with a select group of new and existing partners to define and execute joint sales and Go to Market (GTM) programs
  2. Engage assigned partners field sales organization, channels, and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS
  3. Working with cross-functional teams to create and execute strategic business plans, team development, and marketing enabling a partner to meet their goals
  4. Evangelize the partner's solution and value proposition internally through AWS and externally with partners & customers as identified by the partner
  5. Driving specific partner sales revenue through the management of regular pipeline, opportunities, and business reviews with the partner and all internal stakeholders
  6. Work closely with the partner’s customer base to ensure they are successfully using AWS services
  7. Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all product and service lines
  8. Work with CRM systems, data warehousing, and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes
  9. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team
  10. Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of sales, business, or partner development, and/or channel management experience

- Experience engaging, influencing, and presenting to C-level executives

- Experience presenting and articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

- Verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

- Must possess leadership skills and the ability to build a Canada-wide strategy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years in program development for a technology company

- Direct experience working with AWS consulting and/or technology partners or you have been an employee at a large AWS partner

- Developed and operated five or more global partner programs

- Advanced understanding of AWS, cloud architecture, and infrastructure

- Ability to articulate and present complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

- Organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Inquisitive; will always ask questions to see the “big picture” or get a handle on the details
