As the Head of SBS (Small Business Solutions), you will lead a team working directly with Google’s small business advertisers, and help develop scalable solutions for our advertiser base. You will enable your team of people managers (who will each manage front-line account strategists or digital strategy leads). Engaging with decision makers at advertisers, you will set the direction and the strategy of how they can grow and transform their business.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities
  • Inspire SBS team with a clear direction, priorities, role modeling of excellence, and impact we are having on the Canadian small businesses.
  • Manage a team of managers, set and communicate team priorities, and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives (both brand/consideration and profit driven marketing related), and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan and achieve growth goals through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives (including competitively selling vs other channels).
