Key Accountabilities:

Enhance the delivery of the Total Wealth offering through the integration of advanced tax planning expertise by:

  • Collaborating with a team of planning specialists to provide advanced tax planning strategies to high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients as part of a holistic wealth planning process that clients may then consider and implement with their own tax and legal advisors;

  • Preparing and presenting tax education and training content for internal professional development purposes as well as client-facing presentations;
  • Leading the facilitation of professional development activities for planning specialists with more advanced tax knowledge; and
  • Leveraging industry contacts to identify external tax specialists to present to the Wealth Management Taxation team on emerging changes in tax legislation and interpretations that impact advisors, clients, and the business.

  • Strong inclination towards strategic competencies – thinking, relationships, and influencing – that will support the ability to be innovative and evolve the Advanced Planning and Services offering;
  • The incumbent must be well suited to working independently and within a team environment; and
