About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Independent handling/carriage of files related to Corporate/Commercial Law;
  • Draft / Review documents, including correspondence, pleadings, mediation briefs, affidavits of documents.
  • Meeting and communication with clients in a professional manner
  • Conducting discoveries, mediations, motions, etc.
  • Frequently appearing before the Court of Justice/ Superior Court
  • Continuous Business Development

What You Bring

The ideal candidate must have 3+ years experience working as an Associate Lawyer or sole practitioner. Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Must have Strong analytical, research and writing skills along with excellent academic credentials. Ideal candidate is a self starter and passionate about Corporate/Commercial Law. Must have an established book of business.
