Manager, Marketing and Community EngagementKey Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute on MCCCU’s marketing strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Graphic design for marketing collateral and design projects from ideation through to completion.
  • Design original works, including presentations, illustrations, mock-ups, one-pagers, infographics, etc.
  • Refines media (images, fonts, layouts) using graphic design software and can apply typography techniques effectively.
  • Build and execute MCCCU’s digital media strategy and tactics.
  • Design and implement effective communication collateral.
  • Support marketing analytics and marketing reporting.
  • Support MCCCU’s brand through the execution of the Brand Strategy.
  • Support MCCCU’s leadership team in media messaging.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and represent MCCCU at select community and partner events.

Qualifications, Competencies and Skills:
  • Post-secondary education in Design or Marketing.
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in graphic designing, social media and or implementing marketing programs.
  • Excellent design and graphic skills with demonstrated experience designing and implementing go to market collateral.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) and Figma is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of page layout, typography and interaction design; experience with animation and video a plus
  • Experience in social media development and optimization.
  • Creative thinker, excellent listener and able communicator.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with organizational awareness; understanding of whom to engage in order to identify solutions.
  • Experience in tactical execution, goal setting and measurement.
  • High degree of personal integrity in order to recognize and manage access to sensitive information about MCCCU
