Old Toronto, Canada Grant Thornton - Canada Full time

Who we are
You know those big cities that still feel like small towns? Where everyone’s friendly and helps each other out? That’s like Grant Thornton. Except here we’re all professionals and there isn’t a mayor or a general store. What we’re trying to say is that we’re a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ over 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That’s what’s most important to us. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.

A great opportunity awaits a highly passionate and motivated Senior Manager, Leadership Development in our People & Culture team. Based in the downtown Toronto office, this new role provides a unique opportunity to lead the design of our Firmwide leadership development programs as part of a high-performing and dedicated team.
If you are excited to inspire and shape future generations of leaders, in an award-winning, high-performance organization, this is your opportunity.

As a Senior Manager, Leadership Development your responsibilities will include:
• Share leadership for the design for all Leadership Development programs to ensure content and focus aligns with Firm strategy, integrating innovative and transformational approaches in leadership development.
• Continually review program relevance and effectiveness and identify program improvements.
• Collaborate with our L&D team to ensure alignment of both teams in strategy, philosophy and orientation.
• Share leadership for the delivery and management of Leadership Development programs for Partners.
• Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to ensure effective cultural integration of Partners joining the Firm.
• Facilitate and coach on Leadership Development programs.
• Design and continually review resources for locally run leadership team events and retreats, collaborating with P&C colleagues across the country and business unit leadership teams.

In our People and Culture team we’ll love that:
You have a passion for creating an environment where people collaborate and thrive. You love that every day is different and that operating in a changing and dynamic world means that we need to get comfortable with reinventing ourselves. You know that what got us here won’t get us 'there'.
Be Grant Thornton
If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. Here we walk in others shoes before taking action. Just imagine being part of a team that puts “we before me”, where flexAbility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back. At Grant Thornton, you’ll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally. This is a place where your insatiable curiosity enables you to think, see and hear from a variety of perspectives, a place where every day is different and having the courage to grow is part of who you are. And when all this comes together, well that’s when the magic happens
