DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Claims Advisor – Bodily Injury Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to take charge of investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims with precision and care. This is your chance to make an impact, handling complex cases while working alongside top industry talent. This position is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of casualty claims and ensure timely resolution.
- Review medical documents and treatment plans to quantify claims effectively.
- Negotiate directly with claimant counsel to reach settlements.
- Attend mediations and examinations when required, representing the company’s best interests.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all claim activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals for seamless claim handling.
- Assist with overflow files during high-volume periods.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in Bodily Injury claims with a background in Commercial General Liability and Personal Liability.
- Strong skills in mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- A deep understanding of medical terminology and trauma recovery.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Post-secondary education or working towards CIP/FCIP designation is an asset.
