Business Development Summer Internship @ LiquiDonate
Join LiquiDonate this summer for a 10-week internship alongside our Director of Business Development, Sheeva Javid, and Sales Manager, Cormac Pujals.
LiquiDonate matches and moves excess inventory from businesses to over 3,800 nonprofits and schools across the U.S. and Canada. This summer, the Business Development Intern will dive deep into how our retail partners operate, how different types of businesses fit within our circular economy solution, and how innovative tech can meet their needs. The Business Development Intern will also get direct sales experience sourcing and qualifying leads, responding to emails, and working with a CRM.
The final project outcome could be a case study, white paper, survey summary, or other shareable resource to demonstrate how different brands and technology partners fit into our circular economy solution, which will be determined by the intern and hiring leaders based on their specific interests or experience. Methods, resources, results, and strategies will be documented in the final project.
The length of the internship is 10 weeks from July to mid-September 2024. Please note that this position is unpaid.
At the end of your internship, you will share an overview of the internship and what you accomplished in a 45-minute presentation to the company, showcasing a summary of your internship.
Required qualifications:
- Well-organized, experience with Google Drive and Google Calendar, strong understanding of professional email and meeting etiquette
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, gathering and compiling data, implementing ideas, and presenting findings
- Preferred qualifications include experience or studies in business development or sales in the U.S.
