Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for representing the business needs, becoming a leader in your area, and co-managing, leading, and coordinating the functional tower with an IT resource.
  2. Define business requirements for SAP design to streamline business processes, focusing on client-centric and end-user driven solutions.
  3. Collaborate across all functions and sites to ensure alignment on any design decisions or business process changes required: Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, Pricing, Finance, and Master Data functions.
  4. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within teams.
  5. Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  6. Oversee the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
  7. Develop a deep understanding of Saint-Gobain business processes and strategy through strong collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders.
  8. Responsible for decisions on business processes (with approval from the executive layer, if required) by consulting with subject matter experts.
  9. Identify key enhancements and ensure best practices are well adopted.
  10. Collaborate with other streams to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency.
  11. Participate and/or lead in design sessions, demos, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops with business users.

Testing:

  1. Coordinate the testing and business simulation for the processes they own.

Go-live preparation and cutover:

  1. Coordinate the preparation of high-quality data sets for the different phases of the project (iterative approach).
  2. Contributes to the planning and execution of the cutover plan.

User Succession & Training:

  1. Ensure the succession of Super Users within the production and planning functional area.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively use SAP solutions.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 6 years of experience with SAP, preferably with a focus on the functional tower field of expertise.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to translate business requirements into process models.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  7. Demonstrated ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing solution.
