Supply Chain Coordinator at Mastronardi Produce Limited

Location: Kingsville, ON, Canada

Job Responsibility:

Mastronardi Produce, a leader in the greenhouse vegetable industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage product flow at distribution centers, optimize sales, and enhance operational efficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build grower direct shipments.
  • Build grower to MPL facility loads from Category Managers GSP request.
  • Minimize inbound freight costs.
  • Build transfers to fill Category Managers requests.
  • Inform Category Managers of pushed loads.
  • Develop supply plans based on distribution center demand.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics on inbound needs.
  • Monitor and track replenishment lanes to prevent shortages.
  • Manage daily inventory levels and report deviations.
  • Leverage ERP system for responsibilities.
  • Manage product flow from grower to facility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for best practices.
  • Monitor site trends and customer behaviors.

Education/Background Requirements:

  • College or University degree in business, analytics, or supply chain.
  • One-year experience in produce industry, supply chain, or planning.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Valid Passport required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Quick learner with strong decision-making abilities.
  • High-performance team player.
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle out-of-the-ordinary issues.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with flexibility and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Combination of office environment and refrigerated warehouse.
