Our federal client needs a resource the design and implementation of CAF C4ISR networks intended to integrate ISR sensors to the CAF systems, and to foster effective development, integration, synchronization and operationalization of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Joint Operations Fusion Laboratory (JOFL) in support of the Directorate of Joint Capability Development (DJCD) within the Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC).

Mandatory Skills
Must be a certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Within the past 20 years, the resource must clearly demonstrate 10 years' experience with aerospace operations.
Within the past 10 years, the resource must clearly demonstrate 5 years' experience with coordinating cross-border (CAN-USA) and multi-national communications solutions.
Within the past 20 years, the resource must clearly demonstrate 2 years' experience with deployable communications systems.

The scope of work of the Contract includes, but is not limited to:

The Senior Telecommunications Analyst professional will be expected to execute the following tasks during this contract, but not limited to:
Coordinate and oversee the planning and build of developmental and operational test plans for C4ISR networks, integrating CAF sensor and platforms with BICES, COMN, and CSNI.
Assist with planning and building C4ISR networks for C4ISR exercises, such as Bold Quest and Unified Vision and other exercises as required.
Implement and maintain cross-domain and diode solutions for dissemination of fixed format, and unformatted messaging.
Consult on network designs and requirements for C4ISR systems that enable initial operating capabilities and demonstrate operational capabilities.
Prepare various briefings, papers, and written reports on network and security configuration of architectures for C4ISR systems.
Coordinate and conduct investigations/research, design, implementation, testing, operation, performance evaluation, and interoperability assessments for JISR capabilities developed within the JOFL.
Participate in the conceive, design, implementation and testing of JISR prototype architectures.
Collaborate with CJWC staff, and other organizations as required, to identify JOFL connectivity, networking and information technology systems required to support the operations of the JOFL and the integration of CJOC capabilities developed.
Participate in related C4ISR working groups, meetings, and discussions, both internal and external to DJCD and the JOFL, as required.
Provide C4ISR technical subject matter expertise and coordination support to the planning and execution of JOFL & C4ISR tests, trials, evaluations, and exercises.
Assist the JOFL & DJCD staff in the preparation, review, and implementation of JOFL orders, Lab activity directives, and JOFL operational procedures.
Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of DJCD C2ISR Team Lead decision briefs to DND/CAF senior management related to JOFL & DJCD activities.
Assist in coordinating testing and evaluations of service-specific C4ISR platforms, connectivity and processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) capabilities.
