Our client, a locally owned Winnipeg success story, has partnered with Stacey Danley at Aplin in the search for a Human Resource Business Partner. Reporting to the Director of HR, the successful candidate will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to leaders across the organization in all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, policy compliance, employee development, and training
  • Understand and implement HR best practices to ensure organizational goals are met
  • Support the Director in implementing a long-term HR vision and strategy
  • Develop a recruitment strategy for and support leaders with hiring processes
  • Act as a culture and engagement champion and support employee development

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a generalist, advisor, or business partner.
  • Strong understanding of employment and human rights legislation across Canada.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • A fun and collaborative leadership style.
  • An ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Please note this is a full-time Monday-Friday in-office position.
