Position Summary
Under the supervision of the manager of the Clinical Research Unit in cardiac electrophysiology and the Principal Investigator, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful conduct of clinical research studies.
General Duties
- Recruitment of study participants (e.g. Identify and screen potential subjects, obtain informed consent).
- Coordination of study visits as per study protocol.
- Execution of all aspects of study visits (e.g. adverse events, safety, questionnaires, sample collection including processing and shipment of samples according to clinical protocol).
- Clinical evaluation of subjects according to protocol requirements.
- Provide coordination and timely completion of all aspects of data collection and sources documentation.
- Timely completion of electronic CRFs as for clinical trial requirements.
- Respond promptly to queries and requests for information.
- Conduct other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Education / Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: minimum 1-year experience. Previous clinical research experience in an Academic environment is an asset.
Required Skills
- Excellent French and English, spoken and written.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or with minimum supervision.
- Self-directed, organized and with a good sense of ethics.
- Strong regulatory knowledge including GCP.

Status: Temporary, full time
Pay Scale: $43,316.00 to $80,425.80, commensurate with education and experience.
Work Shift: 35 hours/week.
Work Site: Montreal General Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital (Glen Site).
