Who are we looking for?

Our client is seeking a Measurement Engineer to join the Technical Support Division. The Measurement Engineer's primary role is to provide technical services related to hydrocarbon measurement and loss control, as well as act as a mentor for newly developed engineers in the measurement path.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program, an advanced degree is preferred.
  2. PE or CEng certification.
  3. 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  4. 10 years in hydrocarbon liquid systems (flow meters operation and types, flow computers functionality and requirements, auto sampling, provers, tanks, master meters, etc.) and gas measurement (flow meters, flow computers, metering supervisory computer, sampling requirements (GC)).
  5. Deep knowledge of statistical tools for measurement, in particular, estimating measurement uncertainty.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct measurement surveys and compliance reviews for the measurement systems.
  2. Report and analyze the hydrocarbon product loss control performance.
  3. Develop and maintain hydrocarbon measurement-related training programs for engineers, technicians, and operators.
  4. Maintain processes to measure operating department compliance to relevant company and relevant internal or external standards.
  5. Conduct technical studies and technology evaluations.
  6. Develop and maintain operating facility policies and procedures related to hydrocarbon liquid measurement.
  7. Develop and deliver in-house training programs for engineers performing compliance reviews.
Job Benefits
  1. Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  2. Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
  3. Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service; reward increases to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base.
  4. Severance Package (2-year vest period) – Year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service; Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after.
  5. Employment Tax – if employee chooses to separate themselves from their ‘home country’ for income tax purposes, most will not be required to pay ‘home country’ income taxes; company will not report income to the ‘home country’ governments. Please check with your tax advisor for specifics relating to you.
  6. Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) (eligible after 12 months of service) – maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap, 20% share discount.
  7. Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance, approx. 1.8x monthly base salary.
  8. Travel Allowance – annual; approx. $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  9. Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.
  10. Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members. In-Kingdom dental services subsidized.
  11. Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – Out of Kingdom Assistance: 90% of expenses with a maximum per child, lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets; undergraduate college-age children get 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets; In Kingdom Assistance: 2x monthly base salary or the company max ($16.3K).
  12. Settling in Allowance – one-time payment; Family Status - 100% of monthly base salary; Single/Bachelor Status – 60% of monthly base salary.
