Calling all Process Engineers for an exciting opportunity to work on a Nuclear project in GTA

Agilus is recruiting for a Process Systems Engineer in the Nuclear industry in Mississauga, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide design solutions and assessments for new, updated and modified process systems, structures and components.
  2. Prepare and/or review design documents for Nuclear Power Plants, e.g., Design Calculation, Design Requirements, Assessments, Technical Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Materials, and System Code Classification.
  3. Perform thermal hydraulic evaluations on complex systems.
  4. Prepare and/or review Engineering Quotation Request and Tender Technical Evaluations and prepare and/or review Engineering packages.
  5. Perform walkdowns, attend site visits and meetings as required.
  6. Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress and interface with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  7. Ensure applicable code, standards and regulatory requirements are met and ensure adherence to company quality program.
  8. Ensure adherence to project delivery requirements and schedule.
Successful candidates will have:
  1. Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  2. Engineering degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Engineering Science.
  3. A minimum of 7 years of experience in process-system design/analysis and providing design solutions.
  4. Experience performing heat balance and thermal hydraulic evaluations.
  5. Experience in process system design and layout.
  6. Knowledge of analytical tools used for mechanical and process design (e.g. ANSYS, Mathcad, Flomaster, NUCIRC, CATHENA or similar).
  7. Working knowledge of/experience with the CSA B51 standard, ASME Section III, ASME B31.1 codes.
  8. Eligible for Security Clearance through Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
