Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in financial statement preparation of compilations and review engagements for small to medium sized businesses.
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Participating in audits of various institutional and non-profit organizations.
  • Performing other related accounting functions including bookkeeping.

Hours of Work:

  • Jan-June: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hr lunch) (40 hrs per week)
  • July-Aug: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hr lunch) (35 hrs per week)
  • Sept-Dec: 8:00am - 4:30pm (1 hr lunch)
A successful candidate will have:
  • Accounting experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and an ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Experience with computer software such as Quickbooks online, Caseware, Spreadsheets (Excel), and Tax Programs (Tax Prep) is an asset.
