Job Description

Job Summary:
• Provide direct administrative support to the HR Manager in all HR matters.
• Oversee and actively contribute to the full recruitment cycle.
• Offer quality service to all employees by professionally handling all complaints and inquiries.
• Assist in the implementation of HR Strategies, policies procedures, and programs.
• To effectively follow-up on all human resources day-to-day functions in a way to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• To offer adequate advice pertaining to legal issue and conformity with the market’s labor law.
• Support our branches in the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Help implement and review organizational structures in the supported divisions Act as a change agent in creating a work environment culture.
  2. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process of assigned positions including creating job profiles, selecting sourcing methods, conducting interviews, coordinating background verifications, and presenting offers.
  3. Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accurate tracking of vacation and sick time in the system.
  4. Provide timely responses to employee inquiries.
  5. Set up and maintain current employees’ records and database.
  6. Handle onboarding administration for new hires.
  7. Contribute to the creation and development of HR policies and procedures.
  8. Support our branches in the US.
  9. Assist with other HR projects and duties as assigned.
  10. Act as the first line for all HR administration queries.
  11. Participate in the annual performance evaluation process and succession planning.
  12. Maintain and organize HR files and correspondence with various government entities.
  13. Help ensure compliance with state and Federal laws regarding employment.
Qualifications:

• University degree in Human Resource Management or related studies.
• 2-4 years of experience in human resources as a generalist (CPHR is an asset).
• Enthusiasm for working in a transforming environment, leading growth and opportunity.
• Previous experience and/or knowledge of US employment regulations.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ongoing growth and development with a desire to progress in your career.
• Expertise in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual (French & English) oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain internal and external relationships.
