The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk is located in Kitchener, Ontario and reports directly to the Manager, Finance & Administration.

You're comfortable working with numbers - you could even say that numbers are your thing.  You have a keen eye for detail, allowing you to detect discrepancies and accurately record critical pieces of information. You are a self-motivated problem solver who thrives within deadlines. You are an effective communicator, facilitating smooth resolution of payment inquiries and issues. You have the ability to manage time effectively and efficiently and can adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Your positive attitude and calm demeanour can help you solve whatever problem the day may throw your way.

Your Role and Essential Job Functions: 

  • Reviewing, approving and submitting customer invoices to various portals;
  • Preparing statutory declarations;
  • Posting cash receipts, including daily deposits and reconciliation;
  • Collections and AR reporting;
  • Maintaining customer files;
  • Office administration-related duties, including phone coverage and maintaining inventory of office supplies;
  • Establishing and maintaining positive customer relations;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Act with the best interest of Roberts Onsite at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting or related discipline.
  • We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet the full requirements for this position.
  • Those with more experience welcome to apply as well.

Software:

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Jonas Management System for Construction an asset, but will train.
