Payroll AdministrationAt JTS Mechanical Systems Inc. our rapidly growing team is dedicated to bringing our clients the highest quality service and the friendliest technicians in the business.JTS Mechanical is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll and complete all facets of payroll duties. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a great attitude to our current team dynamic. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems and experience with NetSuite and/or Payworks. This position works in our Guelph location 8:-5pm M-F.Responsibilities & Dutieso  Process payroll and absence management in PayWorks.o  Process bi-weekly payroll for salary and hourly employees (100 employees)o  Process adjustments, ROE’s, T4’s, remittanceso  Maintain employee records in systems, ensuring all information is up to date.o  Reconcile payroll accounts for accuracy – monthlyo  Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation and regulations.o  Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matterso  Other administrative duties as assigned.Requirementso  3-years processing payrollo  Experience in using accounting software such NetSuite an asseto  Payroll certificate (PCP)o  Strong experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word and Outlook)o  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillso  Knowledge of Mechanical Systems industry an asseto  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationo  Must be able to work 8 – 5pm, M – F in our Guelph office, remote not possibleCompany Benefits include:o  Competitive wages Medical Benefits – Medical, Dental, Life, AD&D, Visiono  Employer Contributed RRSP (employee contributions not required)o  Great team environmentNote: Must have own vehicle due to no Public Transit availableIf you are a dedicated individual with a strong background in payroll processing and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Submit your resume and cover letter to jtsoffice@jtsmechanical.caWe are committed to maintaining a barrier-free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
