Our client is a distinguished full service mid-sized law firm in the heart of Downtown Toronto known for its low turnover. They are currently seeking a Employment Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team and support two partners.


Your new role

As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role within the law firm. Your tasks will involve preparing legal documents, conducting research, managing case files, and providing essential administrative support. Working closely with the lawyers, you will demonstrate your ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position, we are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in the litigation or employment litigation practice and must have successfully completed a community college legal assistant course. Proficiency in The Rules of Civil Procedure and familiarity with all levels of court procedures are essential. Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required.
