Family owned and professionally managed, Westbrook Trailers is a division of The Westbrook Group of Companies specializing in the manufacturing of Galvalume steel light duty trailers, and partially assembled kit trailers.


We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to promote our brand and product line to powersports and trailer dealers across North America to drive sales growth. This role will involve significant travel (approx. 50%) in the US and Canada order to establish and maintain strong relationships.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the North America powersports dealer and trailer dealer markets;
  • Identify and prospect potential dealerships, conduct cold calls, and schedule meetings to present our product offerings;
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing dealerships, providing exceptional customer service and support to drive repeat business;
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to gather market intelligence, identify customer needs, and optimize product offerings;
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to educate dealers on the features, benefits, and applications of Westbrook trailers;
  • Participate in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with dealerships to ensure mutually beneficial agreements;
  • Track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential threats;
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network with key stakeholders, promote Westbrook’s brand and products and identify new leads.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within the powersports or outdoor recreation industry;
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and passport;
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and effectively engage and influence diverse audiences;
  • Exceptional problem-solving, and decision-making abilities;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving sales and achieving targets;
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time), with a primary focus on Midwest, Mideast and Northeastern US;
  • Effective collaboration skills to work cooperatively across departments in support of fulfilling customer requirements;
  • Strong organization and time management skills;
  • Solid analytical skills to analyze market/sales data and identify trends and gain insights;
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
