**JOB TITLE**: Strategic Sourcing Analyst
SUMMARY
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Procurement Department. In this role, you will assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services that meet our organization’s needs while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will collaborate with various departments and vendors to support our strategic procurement initiatives and contribute to our overall operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.
- participate in the development and analysis of approved RFPs. This includes development of specific questions, RFP strategy development, evaluation models, pricing comparisons and consensus evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Process purchase orders and manage order confirmations.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and pricing.
- Support the procurement team in supplier performance evaluations.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to purchase orders and deliveries.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and expenditures.
- Help develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations as needed.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Ensure timely communication with suppliers regarding order status and delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.

EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
