We are currently seeking to hire top talent for Customer Service Representative job openings in Markham, ON – this is an in-office position that will have you working bi-weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, 9am-5pm and the potential of 10am-6pm (no weekends). In this Customer Service Representative job opening, you will be looking at a full-time, temporary commitment for at least 3 months with potential to extend. The ideal candidates will thrive in fast paced environments, be able to control multiple priorities while working on multiple systems and enjoy working in a positive, inviting corporate call center setting.
Key responsibilities for Customer Service Representative job openings in Markham, ON include, but are not limited to:
- Deal directly with both consumer and corporate customers in an inbound calling environment
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and handle and resolve customer complaints - follow up calls when required
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints in various software tools - heavy document tracking
- Act on email inquires and request in a timely manner
- Set up and update account and billing information in the appropriate systems
- Help with new account creations and payment scheduling set up
- Research and liaise with internal teams to help resolve billing discrepancies and account issues
- Various administrative and/or clerical duties as required
Minimum qualifications for the Customer Service Representative job opening in Markham, ON include but are not limited to:
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role from a high volume call center setting (although this role is inbound, they welcome those with outbound calling experience as well)
- Strong skills with technology (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and others) and the ability to learn new systems quickly and enthusiastically; asset to those who have had to work on multiple tools at one time
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and spoken – strong listening skills
- Outgoing, professional and enthusiastic team player with a key focus to high level client service
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think on their feet and remain calm and professional at all times
- Highly organized and strong follow through skills; confident.
