We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Classification Specialist to lead the development and implementation of fair, consistent, and competitive compensation systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in compensation design and analysis, with the added ability to support job evaluation and classification work. This role is a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:Design and implement compensation systems, salary structures, and pay frameworks that align with organizational goals and market competitiveness.Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity analyses to support compensation decisions.Provide guidance on compensation policies, salary adjustments, and pay administration.Support the development and maintenance of job classification systems, including reviewing job descriptions and evaluating roles.Partner with HR and leadership to ensure alignment between compensation programs, organizational strategy, and budget priorities.Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in compensation design, analysis, or total rewards administration.Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with HRIS or compensation tools is an asset.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret and apply compensation frameworks.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders across the organization.At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
