We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Bolton, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee human resources functions for a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting approximately 120 employees and contract workers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage recruitment, HR administration, and health and safety initiatives while fostering a collaborative and people-focused workplace.Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for both salaried and hourly positions, ensuring a robust pipeline of candidates through diverse sourcing strategies.- Oversee daily HR administration tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance.- Conduct health and safety inspections on the plant floor, collaborating with supervisors to maintain compliance and deliver training programs.- Act as a key advocate for company culture, promoting a respectful and unified team environment while coaching leaders on effective communication practices.- Process payroll activities and contribute to workforce management initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and data integrity.- Assist with the development and execution of people-focused strategies aligned with business objectives.- Provide support for employee relations, fostering strong partnerships across departments and addressing workplace concerns.- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices to ensure policies and procedures align with organizational goals.- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in manufacturing environments.- Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruitment, particularly for labour positions.- Proficiency in workforce management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in social media recruiting.- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, capable of building trust and rapport across diverse teams.- Self-motivated and able to work independently, providing comprehensive HR support as a sole on-site representative.- Familiarity with health and safety protocols, including conducting audits and delivering training.- Reliable transportation and willingness to work on-site five days a week with flexibility in hours.- Knowledge of payroll processes and systems, such as ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
